PEI Lobster Traps

An Island tradition! For over 150 years, Islanders have become notorious for their lobster fishing, sharing the now-famous delicacy locally and around the world. Approximately 1200 Island lobster fishermen work out of PEI's 45 ports, many of them generational families. 

While driving across the Island, don't be surprised if you see barns full of lobster traps, hauled from the oceans with the day's catch, or sitting in preparation for the upcoming season(s). Pairs well with any of our PEI collections of prints.
